How should you use this information?

My RER system is designed to help you draft the best possible fantasy basketball team. The overall rating for each player intends to give you a good idea of where he should be drafted and which players have similar fantasy value. A similar rating system last year helped me draft Caron Butler in the 4th round, Carlos Boozer in the 5th round, Deron Williams in the 6th round, Kevin Martin in the 8th round, and Leandro Barbosa in the 11th round (in my one and only league). I picked all of those players because according to my draft rankings, they were far and away the best players available.

However, a player's overall rating does not matter as much if there are several players of similar value still available. Many times, picking the best player for your team is more important than picking the best player available. This is where my category values come into play. I suggest creating a new spreadsheet for your fantasy team, and pasting the category values for each player that you draft into it as the draft is taking place. This way, you can easily monitor the strengths and weaknesses of your fantasy team in real-time, and then draft accordingly to what your team needs are.

I hope this has been a suitable explanation and that you have enough confidence in my Roto Evil Ratings to use them on draft day. I think that many of you will be happy with the results. As always, if you have any questions or comments, please send them this way. Best of luck in the coming season (if you're in MY league, you're gonna need it).
